Dr. Julie LaBarge is a licensed Chiropractor and Acupuncturist inspired by her passion for athletics and all things active.
Her personal experience with sports injuries served as the motivation for pursuing a career in musculoskeletal dysfunctions resulting from overuse, trauma and nutritive imbalances. During her youth, exposure to osteopathy and natural remedies subconsciously paved the way for her path into holistic healing modalities.
Dr. LaBarge received her undergraduate degree from the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada. Three years later, she returned to her native California to pursue a Doctorate of Chiropractic and Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Dr. LaBarge’s optimism and enthusiastic outlook are nurtured while seeking to improve people’s health and well-being. She is a weekend runner, yoga practioner, foodie, and NFL fan.
I joined Y.P.A.D. because I was a youth athlete that pushed through the pain. I went to doctors before games and after practices to keep me in the competition but I never stopped at the onset of discomfort. My easy fix, turned compensatory and is now chronic. I want to use my experience and empower youths to know their bodies and limitations and the importance of taking care of their health.
