Saturday was the most wonderful adventure into the unknown. I really mean that. All of us did not know what to expect and yet we still wanted to participate. I actually thought that I would have students dropping out and not coming at the last minute and actually the opposite happened. 3 more students asked if they could please participate. You opened a whole new world to us and it was very important for them to participate and to interact in that forgotten world of forgotten people. I loved that we had to interact and talk and listen and help. I truly believe many of these dancers and myself are not going to forget, I will not allow us to forget the experience or the people. I plan to work with these dancers to help the people here in our own backyard. I know for myself and my life I will always be working to help the forgotten homeless.
Here at Xavier College Prep High School we all loved the handout “EDIFY Movement Ambassador Creed”. I know we, as a dance team are going to try to live by that creed and have integrity with our music, dress and actions within our dance team and my Xavier Dance Academy. I have decided to make a stand, thank you for sharing your knowledge. I absolutely appreciate and enjoy you and Joe’s knowledge and friendship. You both will always be special to me and my team
Thank you for all you do.
My team has not stopped talking about their service, hip hop class and discussion period with you in your home
Thank you again,
Penny Huffor. 🙂
