TEXARKANA, AR (KSLA) – A Texarkana dance instructor is facing charges of sexual assault.
Julie Gross Aultman, 42, is charged with 2 counts of sexual assault involving juveniles, according to the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department
Authorities have not released details of exactly what happened, how many juveniles were involved or where the alleged incidents happened.
The Texarkana, Arkansas School District released the following statement:
“Julie Aultman is no longer employed with TASD. School safety is of the utmost importance to us and will continue to be the highest priority at the Texarkana Arkansas School District.”
Aultman is also an instructor at the Judith McCarty School of Dancing. According to her profile on their website, Aultman has been a dancer for 37 years and has been a faculty member for the past 25 years. The dance studio’s website reflects that Aultman was a dance instructor for College Hill Middle School.
Texarkana police say Aultman turned herself in to authorities on Friday, April 15. She later made a $2,500 bond.
